Here are a few findings from our case study utilizing iDose to minimize healthcare costs:

  • Utilize the “Refine a Dose” feature of iDose, which keeps the trough concentration constant while altering dose amount and interval
  • Consider infusion cost and drug cost relative to the desired trough concentration target
  • In the Managing Infliximab Study (Exploratory), the results from 7 patients were reported separately. Cost analysis was reported for 1 CD patient with a 60% cost reduction by increasing the dosing interval from 4 to 7 weeks. The patient was clinically stable with the new dosing regimen.
